Friday 7th August (evening): The Dams after dark. Join our experts as they catch an amazing variety of moths as night falls and search for bats and other nocturnal beasts….. Meet at Filey Dams Car Park, 9pm. Free, all welcome.

Saturday 8th August (day): The third annual Woodcock Festival 12 – 2.30pm. FBOG’s live music event in Filey’s beautiful Crescent Gardens overlooking the bay. The Railroad Hobos, Morning Bride and many others to be announced. Sponsored by RSPB Bempton Cliffs & Yorkshire Wildlife Trust. Free, all welcome. 

Steve Race Gannets

Saturday 8th August (evening): Bempton cliffs – the inside scoop. An exclusive, illustrated talk hosted by FBOG and the Filey Bay Initiative, featuring award-winning photographer Steve Race, Seabird Officer Mike Babcock and an exclusive short film by George Stoyle – quite a cast! Conference Room, Evron Centre, 6.45 for a 7pm start. Free, all welcome.
