In the bay, both the Red-necked Grebe and Velvet Scoter remain off the town seafront over recent days, as do up to 12 Great Crested Grebes and two Goldeneye. Sea-watching has been quiet, but for a Merlin and two Bonxies south this morning, Long-tailed Ducks south yesterday (14th) and 12th, and Great Northern Divers past today and 11th (JS). Up to 13 Rock Pipits are in the Brigg/bay/beach area, while 27 White-fronted Geese flew south on 12th (MJP).
