A blustery SW wind and dull skies saw a good variety of mainly southbound notables today, including two White-fronted Geese, a Jay, a Snow Bunting, 705 Lapwings, 178 Siskins and 26 Whooper Swans from the Gap (KC), and two Great Northern Divers, two Whooper Swans, three adult Pomarine Skuas (offshore intermittently through the morning), and 71 Pink-footed Geese from the Brigg (MJP, JS). A Kingfisher was around the Brigg and a Short-eared Owl was in the Carr Naze area.
