Garganey, East Lea (Mark Pearson)

Garganey, East Lea (Mark Pearson)

A day which began still and cool and became increasingly sunny and breezy, with again very little in the way of noticeable migration but a couple of highlights. A drake Garganey was at the Dams early afternoon (TS et al.) with presumably the same bird briefly at East Lea this evening (MJP), while the Grasshopper Warbler continued reeling loudly at the Tip, a Grey Wagtail was over the Golf Course, two Yellow Wagtails went north over Carr Naze, and the Cuckoo continued its lengthy singing stint in Arndale.
