Still quiet locally, with blustery winds from the west and south-west over recent days and very few signs of movement. Waders in the Brigg area include three Common Sandpipers, up to three Purple Sandpipers, 15 Turnstones, four Whimbrel, six Dunlin, 28 Oystercatchers, two Sanderlings and five Ringed Plovers, while between one and three Wheatears have been around Carr Naze.

A fly-by Turtle Dove (J&TGD) through the Country Park on 11th was the first of the year and the only real highlight, with passerine migrants thin on the ground but for a Spotted Flycatcher at the golf course yesterday, and others in Church Ravine and Parish Wood on 11th.
