A blustery south to south-west wind made for difficult viewing conditions today, with the highlights overflying Hunmanby Gap in the shape a Marsh Harrier and a Hobby (KC, NCt), with 300 Swallows south there this evening; the land was very quiet generally, with just a couple of Wheatears in the Carr Naze area and a colour-ringed Little Ringed Plover (with a Dunlin) at East Lea and a single Common Sandpiper at the Dams.
