21st October 2014

Very little of note today in strong westerly winds, with 10 Red-throated Divers, five Great Crested Grebes, 12 Wigeon and 10 Teal in the north of the bay and seven Curlew at East Lea about as good as it got. Two Hen Harriers came in off the sea yesterday morning (per J&TGD), when an impressive 33 Reed Buntings, three Twite and 94 Siskins went south early on at Hunmanby Gap.
