Pretty quiet over the last few days, with sea passage almost at a standstill and a similar cast of waders (and a few egrets) at the Dams; passerines have however included a sprinkling of warblers, the best of which were two Garden Warblers at East Lea and a further single at the Dams.
Not so quiet this weekend however, with FBOG’s second annual Woodcock Festival kicking off at midday tomorrow in the bandstand in Crescent Gardens – great live music, stalls, prizes, sunshine and more – all for free…. details here.
We’re following it up with a special talk about bird migration in Filey at the Evron Centre, 7pm sharp – also free entry and open to all. More details here.
