The cattle are moving. From now on and through the summer months a few cows will be grazing on the field at the back of the Dams, the field that must be crossed to reach East Lea. It’s a 70 metre stretch between the two kiss-gates, but the cattle seem friendly enough and before long they will be allowed on to the Dams. If that wasn’t enough there is now an electric cattle wire running the length of the hedge, don’t touch it. Nobody said it was going to be easy!
