An Engineering Triumph
Well, we dug it, raked it, hammered and sawed it, swore at it, we even took the whacker-plate to it, and it’s finished! The shining path to East Lea that is. Two shots from today:
Nick Carter (suitably attired) tackles the harder stones. (with apologies to John Brett)
Coffee and biscuits
Work parties are taking a break for a while now, routine stuff only, but we do intend to alter the kiss gates on the route to East Lea to cater for the more portly of our membership. A major task later in the year will be raising the platform on the pond-dipping area, to keep it clear of the water throughout the year.
Thanks to everyone who helped make this series of parties such a laugh!
