3rd March 2014

More distinctly spring-like weather today, with much the same cast in situ over recent days – with the Slavonian Grebe in the bay (again roosting off the Glen with Great Crested Grebes this evening), ten Little Gulls and two Velvet Scoters off Hunmanby Gap, and a couple of Little Gulls off the Brigg. A pair of Goosander were on the main pool at the Dams this afternoon, where at least one Water Rails remains, and a Short-eared Owl was at Reighton.
