More signs of early spring movement over the last couple of days, with a report of two Wheatears on Carr Naze on the morning of 16th being the main highlight.

Yesterday (17th) saw a sustained passage of Meadow Pipits (350 in two hours at Hunmanby Gap and 130 over the town in a similar period) and other passerines on the move, including double figures of Siskins and Alba Wagtails.

We’ve received details of the colour-ringed Snow Bunting in the top fields from a few days ago, which can be seen here.
