10th March 2014

Two Black-throated Divers are in the bay this morning, with one in the bay corner / Brigg area and one off Primrose Valley (MJP), as well as a Brent Goose on the Brigg (and another north) and two Little Gulls in the north of the bay (and a further four off Hunmanby Gap, where a single Velvet Scoter remains).

Yesterday (9th), a White Wagtail near Carr Naze pond was part the year’s first influx of pipits and wagtails, and a different adult Mediterranean Gull was off the Gap. Of interest, two Cranes were reported to the bird news services.
