Today’s sightings include a Short-eared Owl and a Stonechat at Reighton, and wildfowl numbers at the Dams and East Lea this morning included a pair of Shelduck, a drake Pochard, 14 Tufted Ducks, 18 Gadwall, two Pink-footed Geese, and good numbers of Wigeon and Teal. Two Chiffchaffs were by the East Lea entrance.

Highlights from yesterday (18th) included the Slavonian Grebe in the bay (again roosting with Great Crested Grebes in the evening off the Glen), a Great Northern Diver, three Goldeneye, two Pintail and 15 Little Gulls also in the bay, over 70 Skylarks in off the sea, and 500+ Pink-footed Geese north during the morning.
