13th January 2014
A clear and sunny day with a few more signs of movement. 19 Shelduck and eight Goldeneye were in the south of the bay (both high counts for the season), 20 Snow Buntings were in the top fields (with one also in off the sea at the Brigg), where there were also 50 Skylarks and a single Lapland Bunting. A Grey Wagtail was in the bay corner. Belated reports include Great Northern Divers (one, 11th; two, 12th) and Velvet Scoters (one, 12th; two, 11th) past the Brigg.
