Finally a county rare to show for conditions that’ve been full of eastern promise lately, and a classic vagrant Sibe at that – Filey’s fifth DUSKY WARBLER was found in Collared Fly Hedge late morning (MJP et al). Almost simultaneously, a Bluethroat was found on the eastern side of Parish Wood (J&TGD, SC), while a/the Red-breasted Flycatcher was reported again from Top Scrub. Plenty of other migrants moved through today, with at least three Ring Ouzels amongst the many hundreds of thrushes.
