A Spotted Redshank (the year’s first) and a Jack Snipe spent a few brief minutes at the Dams early on, and the same venue also hosted four Bar-tailed Godwits, three Snipe, twelve Curlew, two Ruff, two Buzzards and a Little Egret through the morning.

Recent update: with prevailing westerlies of late, it’s been all about quantity in recent days, with the Hunmanby Gap vismig team clocking some impressive totals, including 2524 House Martins and 1323 Meadow Pipits through on 15th.

The sea has been quiet over recent days, with two juvenile Long-tailed Skuas north on the 14th (mo) being the pick.
