An Alpine Swift battled the gale force south-westerlies along the Brigg / Bay corner this evening for a short time before disappearing shortly before dusk (SC et al). Strong visible migration from the Muston Sands watchpoint included a Marsh Harrier north-west, a Little Ringed Plover in off, two Tree Pipits south, two Arctic Terns north and 139 Chaffinches south.

Another Little Ringed Plover, as well as two White Wagtails, seven Yellow Wagtails and a drake Mandarin, visited East Lea. Several Arctic Terns, a dozen or so Common Scoter and plenty of Sandwich Terns were in the bay.
